There was some confusion surrounding how many people Chester's new senior and recreation center could accommodate at one time, with The Chronicle given different numbers in earlier reporting. The number is now posted at the center (see photo), and the capacity is 180 people. The size of the center has come under scrutiny lately because of a persistent waiting list problem that construction of the $1.9 million center was supposed to solve for Chester's senior citizens. More senior groups may be created so that everyone can use the center. — Frances Ruth Harris
