The facts are catching up with the Mercer-funded Tom Basile

To the Editor:

Tom Basile, candidate for State Senate, is proving himself to be more of a fraud each and every day. He can't even print campaign signs without lying: plastered all over the district are his billboards that read, "Tom Basile: Our Senator."

Our senator? Did I fall asleep while the election passed by? Make no mistake, Basile is no one's senator. He is simply trying to fool people into thinking he's already representing us.

Tom Basile is desperately trying to distance himself from reality, but the facts remain up until recently he was a co-worker of Steve Bannon; his campaign is funded by the Mercer family; and he contributed to the hate-filled Breitbart website. Now, he can't even put up a yard sign without lying to voters.

I'm voting for James Skoufis, who has proven himself as a decent, honorable man. Mike Anagnostakis, too, is a respectable legislator. They have more integrity in their fingertips than Tom Basile does in his entire body.
