Join the Chester Kiwanis on spring clean-up day

— Once again, the Chester Kiwanis will be sponsoring its Annual Spring Clean-up Day from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 28.

All groups are encouraged to meet at the Wendy’s parking lot on Brookside Avenue in Chester sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 8:45 a.m., where assignments will be given out. There will be buses available to transport individuals to different parts of the community and then bring them back to the Wendy’s parking lot, where we will all enjoy some lunch.

"This is a great community event that helps us show pride in our Community," says the Kiwanis.

Some of the organizations that have agreed to assist include the Chester Kiwanis and Key Club, Chester Village and Town Highway Departments, the Village and Town Police Departments and Town Boards, Walton Engine and Hose Company and the Chester Fire Department, Students from the Chester Academy, the Chester Bellvale Community, the Little League and the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts.
