Jacobowitz and Gubits, LLP (J&G) announces that 2018 marks its 50th year in business providing legal services to individuals, businesses, nonprofits and municipalities throughout the Hudson Valley.

J&G is commemorating its 50th anniversary by celebrating “50 Years of Caring.” J&G continues its tradition of contributing to the community by volunteering and providing pro-bono services to more than 50 local charities and nonprofits in the region.

The law firm was founded in 1968 to provide legal representation to businesses and individuals throughout the Hudson Valley.

The firm established by Gerald N. Jacobowitz and David Gubits in 1968 has grown into a practice with more than 20 attorneys and a full staff of paralegals and legal assistants.

The firm has maintained its focus on providing the highest quality client service. The attorneys handle a wide range of legal matters, including:

Civil litigation, criminal law, bankruptcy, elder law, estate planning, employment law, matrimonial and family law, commercial and residential real estate, business formations and transactions, arts and entertainment, criminal law, environmental law, municipal law, planning and zoning law, equine law, taxation and tax planning and health care law.

“Our success continues to stem from the relationships we have forged in the community," said Michele Babcock, managing partner. "The fact that our attorneys regularly donate their time, energy and talent to support local organizations is also a huge part of our success and why clients continue to come back for additional services. You can count on J&G to continue to serve the Hudson Valley with the highest integrity, accessibility and confidence.”
