Barry H. Daubert of Goshen, N.Y., dies at age 69

Barry H. Daubert of Goshen, N.Y., a third-generation truck driver and plant manager for Fierman Produce, entered into rest on Friday, March 2, 2018, at Orange Regional Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill, N.Y. He was 69.

The son of Erwin P.C. Daubert and Dorothy E. Curry Daubert, he was born Jan. 17, 1949, in Goshen.

He was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran and was an avid fisherman and hunter.

Survivors include his son Jeffrey P. Daubert and fiancé Debra Snowberger; son, Travis P. Daubert and fiancé Nina Crain; grandson, Hunter Daubert; step-grandson, James Padgett; and sister Diane Charles and husband, Lanny.

He was predeceased by his wife, Denise Labanowski Daubert.

Memorial visitation will be held Saturday, March 10, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at T.S. Purta Funeral Home, 690 County Route 1, Pine Island.

Memorial service will be held 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
