Paul Spielberger of Goshen, N.Y., dies at age 91

Paul Spielberger of Goshen, N.Y., died Monday, Feb. 26, 2018, at Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, N.Y. He was 91.

Son of Max and Etta (Falk) Spielberger, he was born Dec. 12, 1926, in Brooklyn, N.Y.

He served in the US Army during World War II from 1944 to 1945 and the U.S. Navy during the Korean War from 1953 to 1954. He was a graduate of Syracuse University and the University of Pennsylvania Dental School. He was a good husband and loving father

Survivors include his wife, Fay (Seif) Spielberger, at home; children, Lee Spielberger, Nikki Durkin and her husband, James, Yvette Sbiroli and Amy Spielberger; grandchildren, Caitlin Lenio and husband, John, and Jessica and Alison Sbiroli; and sister, Beverly Specland.

A Graveside Service and burial with Military Honors was scheduled to be held in Orange County Veteran’s Cemetery, Goshen, on Wednesday, Feb. 28 at 10 a.m.

Arrangements are under the care of the Donovan Funeral Home, Goshen.
